Additional Information: Both of Private Albert John Kramer's parents died in their 30's before he served in WWI. Per the 1900 Census, he was living with his maternal grandparents, mother, extended family and siblings. His mother was listed as married, but his father was living in a different household and was listed as divorced. In the 1910 Census, Albert was living in his widowed maternal grandmother's household along with siblings and extended family. His mother and father were both deceased.
Father: John Crist Kramer (1869-1904), born either Ohio or Germany, married 1892, occupation Polisher Stone Works, died at age 35 of a fracture of the spine of 4 months duration, buried Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, OH; Mother: Anna M. Basel Kramer (1870-1909), born Ohio, married 1892, had at least 3 children, died at age 38, buried Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, OH; Siblings: Mary (1893-?); Andrew (1897-?).
