Skelly and John Franklin Thornton. In 1950, she was employed as a Saleslady at a Department Store. Her brother, Robert James Gillespie (1891-1918), died on October 7, 1918 in WWI, four months after her husband Private William Patrick McGrath died. She was buried at Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, OH.
