Marriage: On 10/7/1914, at age 26 and employed as an Engineer, John Francis Finlin married Nora L. Graham Kerrigan (1892-1985), age 21, with whom he had a daughter, Eileen Eleanor Finlin Flynn (1915-1992). This daughter named her son John Colman, presumably after her father Private John Francis Finlin, who died in WWI when she was 3 years old. This same daughter, Eileen Eleanor Finlin Flynn, became a prominent Cleveland attorney, civic leader and social activist [see the obituary posted on findagrave.com]. The widow of Private John Francis Finlin remarried and had one more child, a son.
