Additional Information: father Andrew Urban (1867-1931), born Austria/Hungary, immigrated 1890, occupation Coal Miner; mother Mary Falitschko Urban (1876-1933), born Austria/Hungary, immigrated 1890; Private Peter Urban was the eldest of 7 children; in 1900 the family was living in Shoemaker's Patch, Swoyersville, PA; in 1910 the family was still living in Swoyersville, PA (chief industry coal mining for most of the 19th and 20th centuries) where Peter, age 14, was employed as an office boy in a newspaper office; 1910 Census further showed several households of people with the surname Urban living as neighbors in Swoyersville, PA and most working as coal miners; parents and some siblings buried at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Swoyersville, PA; Peter Urban married Bertha Komornik, age 16, in Cuyahoga County, OH in November 1917; daughter Mary was born approximately July 1918 around the time of Peter's deployment; widow Bertha lived with her parents and daughter after her husband died, was employed as a clerk, then remarried in 1922 at age 22; her daughter Mary Urban married Bernard Csepegi in 1940 and had a daughter Deanne Csepegi in 1944; Mary Urban Csepegi died on 4/7/1961 with Deanne Csepegi, who would have been Private Peter Urban's granddaughter, listed as the sole survivor
