There was only one record found that connected Private Freeman Berry to Cleveland, Ohio: A listing of the war dead in the book Soldiers of the Great War, by Alfred Cyril Doyle, Frank George Howe, and William Mitchell Haulsee, 1920, noted that he was from Cleveland. Otherwise, he and his family appeared to have resided in the vicinity of Cincinnati, OH.
