Additional Information: apparently arrived alone at Ellis Island, NY on 12/13/1910 aboard the SS Pretoria having departed Hamburg 20 days earlier on 11/23/1910; he was age 21 and unable to read or write at the time of immigration; stated nationality was "Russia" and race "Polish;" ship's immigration record showed that he had an uncle in Russia and that Alexander was bound for Cleveland, Ohio; ancestry.com records show 3 additional males by the name of Wysomierski (or other similar spellings) living in Cleveland in the 1910's and beyond: Thomas (1881-1928) (definitely Alexander's brother), Bruno, and John (1894-1978); brother Thomas listed on his draft registration that Bruno Wyssomierski was his nearest relative; brother Thomas Wysomirski died in 1928 and was buried in Calvary Cemetery, 10000 Miles Ave., Cleveland, OH; all the aforementioned males originated in "Russia-Poland" and lived near each other in Cleveland, so the assumption is that they were probably related in some way to Private Alex Wieszomerski.
