V. Korasciewicz
Location of Plaque 2023
V. Korasciewiez
(We were unable to definitively identify a deceased World War I soldier with this exact surname and with the first initial V. There were several records with the first name Bruno with multiple variations on the spelling of the last name. Our best educated guess is based on the finding in Doyle, A. C., Haulsee, W. M., Howe, F. G. Soldiers of the Great War. Washington, DC: Soldiers Record Publishing Company, 1920, Volume 2, page 50, in which Private Bruno Korasciewiez was listed as a casualty of WWI. However, in that same book Bruno Korasciewiez was listed as having been honorably discharged.)
