Next of Kin: Mrs. Mary Holtwick, friend, 14018 Castalia Ave., Cleveland, OH. Mary Preisman Holtwick (1878-1940) married at age 39 for the first time on 1/10/1918 (5 months before Private Max C. Luckner deployed and gave her name as his personal contact). No additional information was found to connect them as friends. 

Additional Information: Mother: per Private Luckner's burial card, his mother was Elizabeth Luckner (1866-?) "who is insane" and whose affiliation at that time (1920) was "Red Cross Home Service" in Cleveland, OH. Her guardian was noted to be Harris S. Taylor. The 1910 Census showed Elizabeth Luckner, age 44 and a widow, to be a patient at the Cleveland State Hospital (a state-supported psychiatric facility for long-term care). She was born in Germany, emigrated in 1890, and had one child. Father: no information found.
