Aschemeyer (1888-1937) also served in France in WWI and was wounded in action slightly on 10/4/1918, the same day as his brother Fred's death, and was honorably discharged on 2/8/1919; Other siblings: Ida Aschemeyer Schnacke (1891-1985); Arthur (1899-1984); Edna Aschemeyer Keller (1902-1961), who named her son Fred, presumably after her deceased brother. [Aforementioned nephew of Fred H. Aschemeyer was named Frederick J. Keller (1936-2012) and was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Akron, OH for 40 years, an accomplished athlete, outdoorsman, carpenter, handyman and beloved friend and mentor to many, according to the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association publication "The Observer" (date unknown).
