Additional Information: Sergeant Leonard Joseph Soucek was the oldest child of 3 sons in his family. Both parents were buried alongside him at Calvary Cemetery.
Father: Joseph Soucek (1868-1940), born Bohemia (aka Austria and Czechoslovakia), emigrated 1881 or 1884, occupation Clothing Cutter at a Tailor Shop; Mother: Antonie "Nettie" Kriz Soucek (1872-1949), born Ohio of Bohemian ancestry, had 3 children; Siblings: Louis Soucek (~1895-1967), who served in WWI and was honorably discharged on 2/8/1919; Gordon William Soucek (1899-1978), who married on 6/28/1919 approximately 3 months after his brother's death and had a son [who would have been Sergeant Leonard Joseph Soucek's nephew] named Leonard Joseph (1920-1992) who served in the U.S. Army in WWII from 1944-1946
