Brother: A 1917 draft registration of Joseph Nazymbski appears to be that of Private Nasymski's older brother. The brother reported his birth year as 1888 (differs from below), said he was born in Lithuania, Russia, and worked as a Laundry Man at the Hollenden Hotel at E. 6th and Superior Ave. in Cleveland. He reported having served in the Russian infantry for 3 years. 

According to the 1920 Census, Joe Nozenski (see alternate spellings above) was a boarder at a home at 6214 Fleet Ave., Cleveland, OH. He was recorded as born in 1890 (differs from above) in Russia-Poland, emigrated in 1913 and was single. He was employed as an Operator at a Laundry, could not read or write, and spoke Polish and no English. It is unknown whether the two brothers shared a similar life history and immigration history.
